Mixture gauge is an oxygen sensor. The probe will quickly foul in a leaded fuel environment and be junk. As in less than 25 hours.

It goes on the exhaust side.

If you can individually tune the rotors from an intake/fuel perspective then you COULD instrument each exhaust pipe, but otherwise, after the collector will give you an "averaged" value.

You could probably get just as good info from putting EGT gauges on each exhaust, and tuning to peak EGT. And the EGT probes dont lead-foul.
