Hi Chris,
Sorry I missed you passing through
Houston - but, had to keep rolling before I-10 flooded {:>).
If you are producing power and
keeping it cool - sounds like you are getting close to that first flight.
In Llano, Texas now - finally
stopped raining late this afternoon - but, it really came down most of the day,
saw patches of blue sky so looks like its pretty much over with
here.
Will be back home around July 15th
or so.
Best Regards
Ed

Subject: [FlyRotary] Made me smile
On my way to work today I checked my phone messages and low and behold who
had left a message, the man, the legend.....Ed Anderson.
He was giving a vmx wave as he passed through Houston on
his way to Llano. He could not have picked a worse day as we are getting
poured on by the residuary of Alex but it was good to hear from him. It
made me smile.
Thanks Ed.
The site has been really quiet, so here is a quick update from me. My
engine is running as well as ever and seems to be developing nice power. I
have been cleaning up the engine compartment, plugging holes, securing wires,
refitting the cowling etc. I ordered fire sleeve from a place
close to Houston in Sealy TX for a really great price (about half of
AS&S ) and am waiting for it to arrive.
I received some V-clamps today to install my exhaust
pipe from the turbo to run through the cowling. Hope to start
that tonight.
I hope the weather gets better for you Ed.....wave (or stop by) on your
return trip.
All the best,
Chris Barber
