I wouldn't begin to even THINK about changing things without operating it under load. BUT.. oil pressure can be adjusted by dropping the pan, taking the REAR oil pressure regulator and either putting a stiffer spring in it, or putting metal blanks/shims/coins inside the barrel to compress the spring. But keep in mind, even at 4000 rpm, you are generating very little power due to very little load. If you blip the throttle too much you could easily exceed rpm limits. be careful. I'd cover the oil fill with a shop rag.. something that breathes but keeps stuff from falling in the sump.
