Me too Al. Ed mentioned run-on, but my engine quits within a second of killing the pump.

4) I turn off the fuel pump to kill the engine. I suppose this does leave a possibility of a little fuel in the chamber? Not sure there is any reason for concern?

My first step in shutdown is the fuel pump switch. Seemed the best to me because it immediately relieves the pressure in the lines, rails and injectors; and burns the fuel as the engine stops.  Shutting down the injectors first doesn’t leaves the pressure which bleeds off slowly.
