I'm at the forward edge of the cg envelope, so I could afford to take some weight off the pointy end. The front mount is a solid 1/2" thick 4x4  chunk of angle aluminum 18 inches long. I have two fuel pumps, and 12 feet of 1 1/2 diameter coolant hose, and two batteries. So, you can see there is some potential to take some weight off this plane. Maybe when my oil well comes in,  I'll get to work building an all aluminum engine.
