That doesn’t really seem out of
line to me. IIRC; when I had the 85 pitch prop the static and max level
were quite similar to what you’re getting – maybe just a bit higher.
I think a bit less prop will get you close to where you want to be. I don’t
know what the tradeoffs are between less pitch or shorter blade; but I’m
thinking less pitch is the way to go.
Of course some more power would do the
job as well.
