Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: Next generation re-drive

I'm curious why someone like Tracy wouldn't be all over this, if for no other reason than self preservation in the PSRU market.  If a working PSRU came to market based on this technology and it was remotely price competitive, it would virtually eliminate all other PSRU's on the market.  No gears, no oil, no belts, probably lighter than anything out there, smaller than anything out there and if you get a prop strike the magnetic gears spin free so you wind up replacing just the prop instead of the prop, the PSRU and some expensive engine parts.

What am I missing?  What's the reason not to jump on this opportunity?

Just curious.

Plus has built in torque peak damping.

I didn’t check size, pricing, availability, etc
