I have been scraping and washing in a parts washer the forward end housing
and the gasket for the water punp and the front cover are very subborn.  The
only thing that seems to work is a dremel sanding drum.  Is there an eaiser
way?   I am worried about maring the cast iron although the new gasket
should seal adequately. Thanks for any help.
