I'm still working on RV-8 oil cooling in my occasional spare hours. Very strange problem that I haven't fully understood yet. I'm at the point where I plan to move the oil cooler to a different location. Will talk more about it after I get it fixed. Need a new pre-pump fuel filter. The Jegs filter started restricting flow (shows up as fuel pressure) at high throttle after 23 hours with only a small amount of debris in it. (it can be disassembled for cleaning). I love the airplane though. Feels very 'muscular'. ROC of 3600 fpm with a FP cruise prop. Exceeds VNE in level flight without even breathing hard.
