Try the FPS-Plus Reflex controller from www.aircraftextras.com

Hello All,

I am probably a little off-topic here, but you guys provide such great
information that I thought I’d run this one past you.

I’m looking for a flap controller for an RV-7 that mimics the good-old C-172
flap controller.

I like the C-172 system because it:

does not require the pilot to hold the switch until the flaps are in the
desired position
give a visual indication of both the selected position and the actual flap
position
allows the pilot to select any flap position, no matter what the current
flap position is

I don’t like the C-172 system because it:

is full of speedometer cables and limit switches

Does anyone know of any after-market devices that accomplish these goals?
After Googleing for a while I found a few, but none that meet these
criteria.  Perhaps I overlooked something…

As always, any suggestions are much appreciated,

-Jeff
