I just bought a Setrab oil cooler from Ebay and about to install it.  I was thinking…what if the cooler has contamination in it!

My oil flow comes out of the engine through the cooler, through the oil filter then back into the engine.  My assumption is that I am covered by the filter.  Is that sufficient?

What say ye??
