I sent the EC2 back with zero programming of the map table (factory default settings). *IF* everything else is right, this is how it is supposed to work and very little programming (sometimes none at all) is needed. Most engine teething problems start with some detail not being right in the installation (there are dozens of possibilities) and the builder starts trying to correct it by adjusting the EC2/3. If it seems like the EC2 is almost impossible to adjust, it probably means something is amiss. Sounds like things are back on track now and I'm glad its going better.
