Depends on tubing size and some intangibles like fuel cap seal, crabbing etc.
My Velocity has a 5-gal sump gravity fed from the strakes with 3/8" ID tubing
with engine fed from sump. I've been putzing with it for a couple of years
trying to make it feed symmetrically. I've gotten to where the Left tank only
has 3 or 4 gals in it when the Right tank gets empty. This is a common problem
in configurations of this type. I think you'd be better off with positive
control over delivery from the wings - perhaps something similar to what I
described in a recent post.

returning to both tanks ie forward rotor to port tank and rear rotor to
starboard tank. If the fuel could level on all conditions then the fuel
could be returned to one tank. To implement this you would need two
primary rails two secondary rails and two regulators. I may not need to
split the rail system.
