The hushpower II lasts around 200 hours on my installation, external muffler on a NA 13B. All seems normal until you take it off and notice the innards rattling around.

Jason Hutchison with his 3rd gen turbo block (no turbo) gets considerably less. The welds just split. His is also external.

YMMV, of course.

Unless yours is under the cowl. In that case, it’s the plugs up orientation that keeps yours cool :>)
