Hi Ernest, The answer to your question is - no, I have not tried the Autolight plugs. The one and only time I put other than stock plugs in my engine, the first flight I lost all the apex seals on one rotor. Turns out it when I tore down the engine, it was clear the plug change had nothing to do with the problem. But, I never got back to experimenting with plugs for some reason {:>) However, your point is well taken, that could certainly be worth trying out.
