Steve and All,
The "Mistral" engine Steve has is experimental and as such has no data plate
and Steve can call it just about whatever he wants..............For example he could
it a "Thomas Wankel Cycle Internal Combustion Engine", Serial number xxxxxx !!

Do you mean the engine data plate?  There is no other "certification" that I know of.

Best Regards,

Steve Thomas

Whoops,
Sorry Steve you are running the Mistral engine correct? What are they claiming on the certification? Probably just Rotary.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Registering Your Aircraft

I'm filling out registration papers for the FAA, and I have a question for all of you already flying. The "Affidavit of Ownership . . ." asks for the "Type of Engine Installed (reciprocating, turbopropeller, etc)". What have you guys been putting in this field?

Best Regards,

Steve Thomas
