I have been watching all this EC2 problem solving going on for some time now. Maybe I was just lucky, but I certainly don't remember having near the problems that seem to be plaguing builders now. Or is it just that those who don't have problems don't post?
For me, it wasn't quite plug and play, but it was darn close. Following the manual exactly is almost mandatory. I had to read and re-read sections until it became clear in my mind what was going to happen. Generally, if you call Tracy, he will point out some sentence in the manual that you have glossed over.
Sorry if this looks like a rant, but just wanted to point out that not everyone has problems with the EC2.

As has been pointed out, the EC2 is not a plug and
play device and does take some degree of ghostbusters poltergeist work
to chase the gremlins down.
