MazdaTrix in the past used Mazda part numbers - but, they swapped the first
set of 4 or so characters with the last 4 or so characters - so if you
compare the Mazda number and the Mazdatrix number you'll see what I mean.
So as best as I recall MazdaTrix never used the actually Mazda part number.
Mazdatrix number for Rx-8 Primary 13-250A-N3H1
Mazda Number for same part N3H1-13-250A

Bill,
Are you sure about those part numbers? Mazdatrix shows different numbers
for the 3 renesis injectors. I'm assuming they use the OEM numbers, but
they might not.

I have been trying to understand the stock Renesis injectors. No joy!
The red primary injectors are P/N 195500-4430. I found them listed several
places on the web with a flow of 225 ccm @ 43.5 psi. (3bar)
The RX-8 manual says that they should pass a flow of 276 to 312 ccm at a
pressure of 56.9 psi. That aint happening! Not if they are rated as above!
The max flow at the new pressure would be 257 ccm.
What happened to the 295ccm I had heard about?
The blue secondary injectors are P/N 195500-4460. I have found no mention
on them anywhere on the web. It is like they don't exist.
The RX-8 manual says that they should pass a flow of 472 to 532 ccm at a
pressure of 56.9 psi. This is an average of 502 ccm. So at 43.5 psi they
should be rated at 439, lets call it 440 ccm??
The yellow secondary injectors for the manual transmission are P/N
195500-4450. I found them listed several places on the web with a flow of
425 ccm @ 43.5 psi. (3bar)
The RX-8 manual says that they should pass a flow of 356 to 404 ccm at a
pressure of 56.9 psi. That aint happening! Not if they are rated as above!
The max flow at the new pressure would be 486 ccm.
I had already decided to change my red injectors out for the yellow ones, so
I bought an injector set for the hi-power on ebay. I just sent two of my
yellow and two of my blue out for cleaning and flow testing. I will at
least know what they flow.
As a result of this ebay purchase, I may have a couple of yellows and 4 reds
for sale if anyone is interested. (assuming that the blues flow more than
the yellows) I also got the stock rails for the hi power in the deal if
anyone is interested in them.
I will report on the results of the flow tests.
