This guy started the 7 kit that I have now.
Initial workmanship looks good. But that's just sheet metal.
Sad story.

At some point, Al Wick posted this link somewhere, and the Cozygirls have reposted it on the Canard listserv..
It is the story of a homebuilder who essentially (and through ignorance) committed suicide in an airplane. And it wasn't for a lack of concerned friends or vendors. I cringed repeatedly through the factual finding from the NTSB.
Poor workmanship, lack of attention to detail, inability to read/follow/understand directions/manuals and an "end justifies the means" attitude all formed a perfect storm. I give thanks that if he was inevitably doomed, he went out by himself the day before he was going to tote a planeload of family to Boston.
