At All. If its not sealing then find the problem and fix it. Or replace the filter.. or replace the filter mount. The oil filter base may have a removable (universal-type) threaded inner fitting that the filter spins onto. I dont remember the exact part I bought for the plane years ago. Make sure its not backing out, and make sure you are using the right filter. I bought a mount that would use the same filter as a 5.0L Ford Mustang... something universally available.
