Kevin;

Headed out from here (N San Diego County) looks good to somewhere around El Paso, and from there on isolated thunderstorms.  These storms kick up in the afternoon, but “isolated” means you can probably find your way around if necessary.  I’ll be going by south of Pheonix, and through southern NM – looks pretty good to me, but this is three days out.  Worst case probably means I’ll fly in the mornings, and may not get there until Sat a.m.  A bit further north – 4-corners area – still isolated TS.

Check again on Thursday; you may have to extend your route a bit further south. Currently showing mostly cloudy for 40XS on Saturday – isolated and scattered TS Sun, Mon. Hope to see you there.

I'm not hearing good news this morning concerning en route weather.  they are predicting significant weather in NM & sw TX Friday, moving east by Saturday.  are others flying this route[VFR only]?    kevin
