Think it will work fine for you? I would have rather gone that route as well, rather than OEM parts. An update on my attempt; Most of the machining on the RD1 mount plate is complete and looks great. Machining of the rotor and dampener plate is complete. Waiting for a special counter bore bit for insetting of the RD1 bolt holes. Waiting for new shorter bolts for the RD1. Waiting for AN426-6 rivets to reassemble the dampener plate with the rotor. It looks like it's going work, but won't know for sure until the hardware arrives for final assembly. I've taken lots of pics, so between the 3 of us we should be able to come up with a written procedure for this to post on the rotary wiki. I'm sure I could hear Tracy groan from all the way on the other side of the continent, as he read about his creation being modified by another yahoo who thinks he knows better. :-!
