Normally rotor 1 primary is used (like Don has it connected). RPM and fuel flow calculations are made from this signal. I think at some point Tracy had tried to use the serial port to transfer that data to the EM2 but had problems with inconsistent reading, probably due to delays getting the data packaged up in the serial data stream.
