Congratulations, Bill
Just got back from Sun & Fun and great
to hear the news. Doesn’t sound like any serious problems to me, looking
forward to more reports. A long time coming (aren’t they all), but always a
thrill to hear of someone else completing a successful first flight.

Flight N343BS
Thanks Tracy,
looking forward to the pin.
OAT was about 60F, I need more air time to state
that all cooling issues are resolved, particularly at higher power settings.

Hearty Congrats Bill and another "I Love Flying My Mazda Rotary" pin
earned!
Oil & coolant temps sound good. What was OAT?

Today I did first flight in a "Rotary
Powered", KIS Cruiser N343BS . Total flight time (hanger to hanger ) was
30 minutes. Three circuits around the airport and land since the wind was
coming up and getting gusty.
Have some rigging to do, was right wing
heavy. Engine ran okay, still not used to the sound at cruise, but that
will come with time and experience.
oil temp peaked at 210 into the engine during
climb and water at 188. Air through the radiator is heated 100*F .
