It is smoother than the 2-blade wood props, and I have the pitch set so that it gives a slightly higher static. The T/O & climb performance is very good, with a slight loss at the top end of the airspeed range. I don't run it all the time because it looks embarrassingly like an ultralight prop, and the spinner is 1" too small. Other than that, it is my best prop!
