Hi, John.....I bought the MicroTech only because
Atkins Rotary advertised it as a complete EFI and fuel system. It includes the
throttlebody, injectors, ECU, handset control (no need for a laptop), all
sensors (water temp, air temp, etc), pre-wired harness, etc. It truly is
convenient to have everything pre-packaged for you, (although you do pay a
premium for this service), as I wanted to spend more time flying than
engineering. The installation/operation manual is excellent, I must say. I've
just started wiring it up (The ECU ends are already pre-wired). Fortunately,
each wire is labeled, such as fuel pump +, crank angle sensor green, water temp
probe blue, tach sender blue/white, ignition coils, etc. Since every wire
is labeled, this helps the electronically challenged such as myself. The
throttlebody came with the injectors already mounted, and the matching injector
plugs pre-wired, etc. Yep....made for me. The system also includes the fuel
pumps, crank angle sensor, coils, spark plugs, spark plug wires, etc.
Really everything you need to deliver fuel and spark to a bare 13b engine. It
comes with a standard program so that you can start and run your engine, and
with the handset, you can fine-tune the injectors, idle, cold start, mixture,
etc while on the ground or in flight. I know that many people are very happy
with Tracy's system. I only went this way because I am lazy. Take
care. Paul Conner

up?
By
the way, Paul, why the Microtech ECU instead of Tracy's unit? Just
wondering.
