Hi Chris, I have a similar aircraft with a Mazda 13B; you should not have any unusual oil concerns except trying to keep it cool. As for the incline at idle, taxi, etc, you will need to ensure that any air trapped in the engine block water jacket is removed. There are several methods of doing that which are searchable from this list; however, in my instance there is a purge line running from the iron housing closest to propeller back to the top of a header tank; header tank is 1 quart and is only 1/4 filled with coolant.
Hope this helps ... Jeff -----Original Message-----

Subject: [FlyRotary] Oiling considerations on an incline?
Good afternoon everyone,
I'm considering putting a rotary engine on a Barrows Bearhawk, a 2500- pound high-wing tailwheel aircraft, and I was wondering if there are any concerns regarding lubrication of the engine when it's on a mounted at a pretty good angle. In flight, when it's level, I'm confident that there wouldn't be any problems. Just wondering if there is anything additional to consider when at idle, taxi, etc.
Many thanks and best regards,
Chris
