Guess it will be awhile before you get back to tuning but I got your phone message this morning. I agree that it sounds like you may need to reduce Mode 3 setting to bring the MAP settings back in line at high throttle. If you find that the low end settings need to be too high after you do this, Mode 2 is the thing to adjust next. (This assumes you have the update that changed Mode 2 from Program Range to Injection Dynamic Range). Well, I haven't heard of this = happening before=20 -- I was ground running my engine to  tune it with the EM-2 and=20 EC-2.  Ran for almost an hour, at various rpm's to change the = manifold=20 pressure and tweak the settings. Cooling working well, I had the top co= wling=20 off to allow good exit area since I was tied down. Coolant pressure abo= ut 14=20 psi as reported on the EM-2.

Engine was running good, took it u= p to ~6000=20 rpm swinging a 76x76 Catto prop, when suddenly there was steam and flui= d on=20 my windshield. Shut it down by killing power to the EC-2. Coolant=20 everywhere.

Got out and looked to diagnose the= problem --=20 NOT my plumbing.  A FREEZE PLUG in the iron housing had blown out.= =20 Rapid coolant dump.

Secondary effect -- Since I shut d= own suddenly=20 from full tilt, either the proximity of the cowl to the exhaust, or pos= sibly=20 some of the coolant on the exhaust started a small fire on my cowl. Put= it=20 out with extinguisher, but corner is charred.
