  REALLY?  No alcohol in fuel in Texas.  The pumps from where  I get my =
gas says that it "may" contain 10% ethanol....is this just there to cya =
(I understand cya does not always mean "call your attorney").  I =
question it since when the Jeffco failed in my strake it was highly =
speculated it was due to ethanol in the fuel.  I would like to know that =
it is not present as to eliminate it as an issue.  I have always gotten =
the 87 octane from the station across the street from the airport and I =
had no idea it may not be an issue for the GSOT. Hmmmmmmm?

  OH, btw, I am a cop and while I am sure that I could pull ya over for =
the the tanks being transported that way and find a violation (as damn =
near everything is illegal these days <sigh>), I find it highly unlikely =
that I would.  There is too much other stuff to stroke someone for that =
has a conscious disregard for others safety (yeah, you can say being a =
"new Pinto" could classify for that, but again, other stuff occupies the =
day.......like felony "fail to signal turn at intersection" <g>) Of =
course, I am in GSOT and not the Peoples Republic of California.......

        Well this a Ford, an Escape; hopefully I'll be able to escape =
=85 but the Pinto's gas tank was underneath the car, between bumper and =
frame =85 people shouldn't tailgate too close when they see 3 gas cans =
in their face.

        I got tired of smelling and afraid of carrying gas behind the =
back seat of my SUV, so I made this trailer-hitch carrier out of  1 1/4" =
pipe and an ATV basket =85 it's not bullet-proof, but if an accident =
occurs the gas is better off outside the vehicle than inside.
