Here is a piece of the picture from the book. Will the position
sensor work with the plate on either direction? I can put the plate
on as shown, or flip it around 180 degrees. But then the two flat spots
are on the opposite side. I don’t know if this plate needs to be
aligned with the rotors or something else so that the position sensor works
correctly.

The question for today is about the Eccentric shaft position plate. I can
put it on two ways, 180 degrees out from each other. I assume the stamped
arrow goes out, but how do I know which way to put the plate on? Or does
it
even matter? The repair manual doesn't specify.
