I'll read up on auto tune wh= en I can retrieve my manual from the airport, but I think the EM2 is requir= ed?

Mike,

By me stating "it worked fine", I = really meant that I didn't screw up anything major and that it just pos= sibly ran better than before I messed with it.  ;-)

I don't= know where to go to see the "B" MAP, or if it is even possible, = so all I can go by is by ear and seat of the pants.  Did it appear to = run better than before?  The answer was yes.  Maybe it was just m= y imagination.  On a side note, I would like to know exactly what gets= copied from A to B when using mode 9.

Now that my auto-tune is working, I have done 99% of my tuning with it.=   If you haven't learned to use auto-tune, do yourself a favor and= memorize the steps.  It will make life a whole lot simpler.

Me too (manual at airport). I up= dated my EC2 in January and the new manual says Mode 9 to copy.

So clarify what "it worked = fine" means? Does that mean that the engine runs more or less the same= on A & B after the copy? Or does that simply mean that you know the da= ta copied OK?

So far the only person who has a= ctually answered my question was Dave. Was kinda hoping to hear from Tracy = but I guess he's otherwise occupied ( I emailed him a few days ago).

Al,
My EC-2 manual is at the airport, but I'm pretty sure that the&nbs= p;latest manual says to use Mode 9 to copy A to B.  Following the= EC-2 manual, I did that on Sunday and it worked fine.  I know that Tr= acy made some changes to a few of the modes.  As always... f= ollow the installation manual, and after an upgrade always throw out the ol= d manual.

Mode 9???  Unless your uni= t is different, copy A to B is mode 2 =96 and it copies everything. Mode 9 = is for fine adjustment of mixture settings, and is used for ato-tune in con= junction with the EM2.
