A great deal of the size depends on how good the ducts to and from the radiator/s are. The convenrtional thinking is 2-3 c.i./hp. For example if you have 200 hp you will need 400-600 cubic inches of heat exchanger. If you plan to try to do it inside the cowl, make it as big as you can and still get it to fit. It is hard to get efficient ducts inside the cowl.

I am trying to get a rule of thumb for required radiator size.
I would like to know the engine HP and the size of the radiator, in order to
determine the cubic inches of radiator required for each horsepower.
