If anybody wants to pitch their sleeping bag on my floor, Laura has the key. (But no sleepwalkers please!).

   Week Earlier!!!!

Laura Crook informed me that RSVP for that best of all gatherings
   – The Shady Bend, Rotary Round Up - are down 50% from this time
   last year.

It just occurred to me that perhaps some of you may have not
realized - the rotary round up has been moved up a week from its
normal last weekend in October - in hopes of finding better
weather. So that means the round up is 17,18,19 October or the
next weekend after the one coming up! So if you thought you had
plenty of time – you don't! Get that email to Laura ASAP!

   laura@rotaryaviation.com <mailto:laura@rotaryaviation.com>

Details and your personal invitation await you at :

   http://www.rotaryaviation.com/invitation.html

She is placing the food order NLT this coming Friday!!!! That's
   like 3 days from now!

So half of you are either going to have to bring your own food,
travel into Bell, Fl to eat (not bad food for a small place – but,
a long, long walk) , beg from those who did RSVP or better plan on
   getting skinny.

Richard Shone is going to provide an update on his aluminum,
one-rotor engine – always interesting to see what challenges
Richard has faced and overcome. Carlos Gonzalez is going to do an
engine tear down and Laura would like a couple more speakers if
   possible.

Naturally, you can hound Tracy with questions about the newer EC3
and its EM3 as well as everything you wanted to know about "Auto
tune" or simply rotaries in general. We can all razz Tracy for not
having the 3 rotor RV-8 ready to fly – YET! I keep telling him, if
he would stop vacationing in the mountains of Colorado and stay
home to work on it, he would be finished. But, will Laura listen –
   nope!

But, the biggest priority is to get your name into tonight or
tomorrow to Laura if you are going to attend (and want to eat).
Let's help the lady out folks.

Hope to see many of you there.

   .

   Best Regards
