Bob, I agree, the only thing i've had issue w/ was some of the comma delimiting [sp] stuff when importing coordinate files and such.  Excel just did a better job of making the data usable.. I'm not knocking it. Like I said, I use it at home. Just my experiance.

All I use is Open Office 2.4 (Linux).  Totally cross platform, and it
has a great built in database.  I hardly ever have a problem opening MS
Office documents.  I don't know what MS Office does that OO doesn't, as
it does everything I need.
