What plugs are you using currently Al ??..............Might be w= orth a new set
of plugs and a test flight before your trip to see if you get the same=20= symptoms
when leaning........Even though I have heard of leaning up to 200 LOP I= do
believe 100 to 150 LOP is a more practical range.........

Al,
How many hours are on=20= your sparkplugs and are you useing auto fuel or 100LL.........Something to
consider before a 2000 mile=20= trip.........Could be possible indication before the dreaded "SAG"..........=

I don=E2=80=99t rec= all (have to check the engine log), but I=E2=80=99d guess maybe 20 hrs; only= 10 ga 100LL; all the rest unleaded mogas.  I took a leading and traili= ng out yesterday to look at them and they look fine.

I=E2=80=99m find= ing that at about 100F LOP I sense that the engine is starting to not like i= t =E2=80=93 like it doesn=E2=80=99t seem to be entirely smooth; maybe an occ= asional miss here and there.  Am I right that some of you guys run as m= uch as 200 LOP; or is it my imagination =E2=80=93 in both cases.

Would timing set= ting have much of anything to do with running LOP?

Just past by the= 100 hr mark on the engine near the end of a 500 mile trip on Monday.  = I plan to leave next Monday on a round trip of over 2000 nm over the followi= ng week.  That=E2=80=99ll rack up a few hours.
