Al,

I notice that is a non-resistor plug.  Do you get any radio interference?

What plugs are you using currently Al ??..............Might be worth a new set

of plugs and a test flight before your trip to see if you get the same symptoms when leaning.

I’m using NGK B9EGV.  It’s easy enough to put in a new set, although I normally order them on-line since they are pretty spendy at the local store – if they have them.  I don’t think the plugs are the issue; I think Dave’s point about some unevenness in the mixture between rotors is the likely culprit.  It will be easy to see when I get flying – which may not be until I leave on the trip.  I’m not too concerned since I can get over 20 mpg at 200 mph with EGTs below 1700F.
