Thanks Dave! That's sure alot more moola than I'd remembered! Any guess as to what it weighed?
Another question for the group. How many port configurations are there in the 13B? I know there is the 4 or 6 port.. did they change from year to year? Anyone have a good resource for this type of thing? I'll have to check my Hains manual..
[Greg, you may be correct.. their 20B manifold might just have cost more than your whole engine was purchased for! ]

We (Chris Barber and I) bought ours for about 2100 (shipping, intake, injector rails). No manuals, no documentation. It fit our 89-92 turbo block (4 port), which I believe is the core engine their intake was built around. I cannot recall if there is a 6 port version or not, or if there is a work around with regards to the 4 v 6 port issue. There was a slight interference during fit with regards to the rear iron's oil filter pedestal, which on correspondence with Mistral was a known issue with stock mazda blocks. A few seconds with a side grinder to the edge of the oil filter pedestal resolved the fit issue. No modifications to the intake were required.
I cant understand why they wouldn't sell the parts to the public - its income, and they fit..
Cant tell you the weight, but its cast aluminum, and its simpler than the stock intake/tb, so I "ASSUME" its lighter than the stock intake.
I have absolutely no qualms or reservations about using the mistral intake or in dealing with them in the future. I had a good experience and would recommend them.. and honestly, had I had the money sitting around, I'd have bought their engine package and bolted it on.
