Question for Lynn (or anyone else that might know).  How much play
should there be in the transmission input shaft? (side to side not in
and out)

The reason I ask, is that when I pulled the transmission out of the
RX-7, there were some small metal bits that appear to be from the pilot
bushing.  Just a couple of small crescent slivers.  The transmission
input shaft can be wiggled around at least a few thousands.  I'll have
to get some more instrumentation for a better measure.
