Scott, the gent who did mine retired from the
Louver business back a few years ago, but here are a few potential sources from
the web. Some of them look like they will punch holes in your metal strip
(or provide one of there own) fairly reasonably.
Most of them punch it into mild steel, if you
specify aluminum make certain its a softer "annealed" temper such as 6061-0 or
perhaps 5050. If you use a harder such as 6061-T6, the louver punch will tear
the metal near the end.
Hope this helps
Ed

Subject: [FlyRotary] Louvers
Ed and All; I'm getting ready to cut the hot
air outlet holes in my right cowl cheek. I want to install louvered panels
similar to Ed's, and wonder where you get them, and what kind of options are
available? I don't really want to buy a louver punch, but maybe? Any
help would be great, I live in the Seattle area. Scott
