So a bit of research came up with the two best choices. According to one newsgroup, (therefore not necessarily a reliable source but a bit better than no opinion at all), the #1 favorite is: 1. KBS Gold Standard Tank Sealer - "... it will form a super-tough, fuel and alcohol impervious coating, ... Gold Standard may be used on steel, aluminum, and fiberglass tanks." I talked with tech support at KBS and asked specifically about ethanol and explained that it was for a homebuilt aircraft fuel tank and our lives depended on the sealer protecting against the erosion caused by ethanol and he said he was positive that their tank sealer was for all fuels including ethanol.
