If you didn't use a factory puller, or the racing beat puller to take your airplane engine apart. You may assume that the thrust plate is cone shaped and the thrust bearings will fail in short order. I backed the nut off, then drilled a piece of barstock with the flexplate bolt spacing. Cranked down on a couple of flexplate bolts a quarter turn at a time till it let go. Am I still hosed?
