He pointed out that he had been keeping the paper that showed the alloy of the aluminum I had bought for it. I took a close look at it for the first time and....WHAT?! 6013! What is that?! I ordered 6061 from McMasterCarr! Well, it appears that someone at McMasterCarr is smarter than I am...or at least the fellows at Alcoa think they are: http://www.alcoa.com/mill_products/catalog/pdf/alloy6013techsheet.pdf I had never heard of 6013, so I thought some of you might be interested.
