It is a really nice piece of work! Two bolts, attach the fittings, no leaks! Oh, the engine has an oil pressure port just below the tower. When you install Dale's adapter, it is easy to forget the port is there and leave it unplugged....not a good idea. Reminded me of pictures I have seen of Spindletop! :>( Bill B -----Original Message----- From: Rotary motors in aircraft [mailto:flyrotary@lancaironline.net] On Behalf Of Dale Rogers Sent: Sunday, April 06, 2008 12:07 AM To: Rotary motors in aircraft Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: Oil Filter adapter Joe Berki wrote: > Does anyone make a remote oil filter adapter for 2nd gen engines? > Thanks for any help > > Joe Berki > Limo EZ I still make them. They come with 3 "out" ports, for Redrive oil, oil pressure, oil temp, etc. I don't have any finished at the moment, but I have half a dozen semi-complete "blanks". It shouldn't take long to finish one. Oh, and the threads are formed, not cut, so they are smoother, stronger (the inside equivalent of rolled threads), and less likely to get munged. (The AN fitting isn't included.) Best Regards, Dale R.
