I wouldn't call that useless trivia, Dale.  I would say that is why the yellow on the AN bolts I have seem to scrape off with a fingernail.

Lynn, as all evidence I've seen backs up your statement that zinc is the new cadmium, how do we avoid galvanic corrosion?  Are all the stock nuts and bolts anodized in some way?
