So 15K at an average of 150 MPH would be 100 hrs…Most cars change
at 3K to 7K I think…7.5K would get you about 50 hours..??
There is no stop and go to build up water and stuff. I bet you could
get 100 hours on 12 quarts of Mobil 1 with no adverse effects.
What do you think, Lynn?

Change Interval
And what about synthetics? My BMW goes 15K between oil
changes, and I am going on 175K miles, without a burp.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Oil
Change Interval
I don't recall this being discussed on the Fly Rotary list in the
recent past. So, here goes...
What is the consensus regarding oil change intervals for normally aspirated
rotary powered a/c, assuming Mobil 1 and a high quality oil filter.
I want to err on the safe side, but with a 12 quart capacity, we're talking
about $100 per oil change. I don't want to damage my engine/psru,
but I also don't want to dump good oil either.
