Around here, I'll see the putrid green $25 B&D homeowner grade drills priced at $35 & right beside them, B&D 'HolGun' series (~$175 retail) for ...$35. Same story for industrial grade Skill & Milwaukee tools. The only way you'll wear out one of these industrial grade drills is to pour grinding compound into the bearings.

I took the drill apart today.  The plain bronze bearing holding the back end of the chuck shaft was shot.  I'll make me another one, even though it will be more work than the drill is worth, just because the Scottish part of me that I inherited from my father won't let me do different 8*)
Now, how do I get my freshly installed Puppy Linux computer to automatically recognize shared folders on my Windoze computer attached to the same network?

I don't know about Puppy Linux, but you need to install Samba.  I've never had much luck with it (mainly 'cause I've never cared to put more than 5 minutes of effort into it.)
