Yes the spacer tube is inside and the bolts are torqued down on it.  What is happening is that the rubber that the bushing is made of is crushing down.  It is too soft to support the weight of the engine with the PSRU on it at that end.  I would imagine that the engine/PSRU center of gravity is close to those bushings and they are supporting 90% or so of the total weight.   The two bushings at the rear are ok, but they have very little weight on them.

   Do you have the correct length spacer tube inside. That would allow the bushing to crush down like that. if it is not the right length

I noticed that the bushings that Fred furnished with the motor mount plate are not up the job.  The bottom half has crushed down by close to ¼ inch.   I wonder what mounts the rest of you are  using?  The lower picture is of the left (pilot) side and the top is the copilot side.  Both are on the front.  The rear seems to be holding up ok.  I first noticed this when I saw that my spinner was not aligned with the cowl very well…

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
