1) Drill the nut and bolt and install a
cotter pin.
2) Safety wire the cotter pin (in case it falls
out)
3) Use duct tape to secure the safety wire
in case it vibrates and becomes work hardened and brakes off.
4) Use silicone around the edges of the
duct tape to keep it from lifting.
5) Encase the entire assembly in an
aluminum shroud riveted in place.
6) Pot the rivets in with flox to secure
them in place.
7) Cap off the flox with carbon fiber.
8) Repeat steps 5-8.

(1) Drill things out a
size and put in studs.
(2) use jet nuts
(deformed self locking) and forget it. you can barely get them off when you
want to.
(forget the jet nuts)
Use studs. Anything that "can" come off "will" come off. It
is not just Murphy's law. Its the law of the entire universe.
