I received the sad news today that George Graham is
seriously ill and the prognosis is unfavorable. His aircraft has been put
up for sale, so I think that reveals the seriousness of George's
condition.
For those of you who have not had the good fortune and
pleasure of meeting George and his wife Fran, you have missed a lot. A
person who clearly marches to his own drummer, lives life to the fullest (has
the tales to back it up) and a very entertaining and warm person to
know.
George adapted the Rx-7 auto gear box and made it into his
PSRU and flew many hours with it before eventually deciding that its was not
suited for his rotary powered EZ Racer. George was the
first with a 13B in a EZ Racer and one of the very earliest canard rotary
fliers. He never flew it into Shady Bend, but he and Fran
did attended several of the Rotary Round ups where they met many of
you.
George is at home being attended by his loving wife,
Fran.
