Patrick,

I'm using the nicely swept fittings.   The 90 deg turns I can eliminate are in the front engine iron between the oil pump and the
normal engine oil outlet on the aluminum housing.

Are you currently running nicely swept fittings like this:

It's entirely possible to see a decent change by going from hard 90's to
swept fittings. No drilling, tapping or otherwise rerouting anything.
